Barneys New York was founded in 1923 by Bernie Pressman on 7th Avenue and 17th Street in Manhattan. Agumi works on the Barneys private label line.
The first house brand born from the Agumi Atelier, EVEOVE is a contemporary brand known for their bold jackets and understated complementary pieces, artfully blending exquisite Japanese fabrics and innovative Italian-inspired silhouettes.
Agumi works with several brands under the Baroque umbrella including their flagship brand, MOUSSY, as well as newer brands like STYLEMIXER.
COMT is another firm that Agumi collaborates with, developing their Costa Nostra brand and the recently launched Noriko Araki line.
Agumi has played a key role in advancing the vision of several avant-garde designers in the fashion industry through contribution to Sazaby League brands, including Maison Special.
